Free Parking Nearby...
Whilst it's extremely rare within the centre of Berwick, to be able to park on-street right outside your door; with the exception of the Railway Station, Parking in Berwick is FREE on the proviso that you display a Parking Clock, which I provide my Guests at 'The Nest' for use throughout their stay.
That said, you're absolutely fine to pull up outside 'The Nest' for a few minutes to load or offload, ensuring you leave space for other vehicles to get past. Then grab the Parking Clock, set it accurately to your time of arrival and pop it on your dashboard... returning it to 'The Nest' at the end of your stay.
>> Nearest 'SHORT STAY' (max 2hrs 8am-6pm, plus overnight) Half way down West Street and left into Eastern Lane (2 mins walk)
>> Nearest 'LONG STAY' (max 24hrs)
Continue to the bottom of West Street, left into Bridge Street, right into Sandgate and through the Archway onto the Quayside...
with various pedestrian shortcuts through the fascinating old Smuggler's Tunnels and Alleyways (5 mins walk)
Alternatively... Castlegate Carpark (through the Archway at the top of Marygate, turn immediately right next to B&M)
